La Salsa Cantina at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile

If there’s one thing that every vegetarian should know, it’s that Mexican food is almost always a safe bet. Yes, there are lots of hearty meat options but fresh veggies play a huge role in most Mexican cuisine. And La Salsa Cantina is no exception.

Located in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, La Salsa Cantina is great for a quick, veggie-friendly bite to eat. (They also have a ton of meat options, so your whole party will be pleased.) Prices are extemely reasonable, and the service is very fast and super nice. Even better? They know exactly what is vegetarian and what’s not, so you don’t have to worry about hidden ingredients. They even have a vegetarian symbol next to all their veggie items on the menu, so ordering is a breeze.

I’ve been here several times and always had an inexpensive, delicious and filling vegetarian meal. I highly recommend both the California Burrito and the Fajita Burrito. They’ve also got lots of fun, fruity drinks, including yard glasses. But it’s not as rowdy as some of the other spots in Miracle Mile, making it a perfect restaurant for a yummy vegetarian lunch or dinner to refuel for more shopping.

There is a lot of cheese on the menu, but it seems that they would easily be able to accomodate vegans as well. The servers were all well-versed in what vegetarian food means and I’m confident they could whip up a delicious vegan dinner.
