One key piece of information for any Vegas visitor to know is that Steve Wynn recently became a vegan. Why do you care? Because along with his dietary change, he also introduced vegetarian and vegan menu options at all restaurants in both the Wynn and Encore hotels, two beautiful spots on The Strip.
I’ve dined at quite a few places at both hotels, but
not quite every restaurant. (Yet.) But the beauty is, I know I can say yes to any restaurant there, since they have dedicated vegetarian and vegan menus. This includes the high-end restaurants–yes, even steakhouses–as well as the lower end pizza shops who are happy to substitute items on salads or discuss ingredients in detail.
If you are a vegetarian or vegan visiting Las Vegas, definitely make reservations for dinner at Wynn or Encore. And don’t be afraid to tell them what you like or don’t like when you’re ordering. I’ve had only pleasant experiences ordering off the vegan menus. They are clearly used to special requests and are happy to accommodate any dietary restriction.
